@James Potter: You’re a dead rat to me 

Remus was furious. He had been waiting in the boys bathroom for over an hour now. He stormed out of there and made a bee-line to the Great Hall. He strode past the Gryffindor table. He finally caught a glimpse of James. He went right up to his face and said “What are you playing here? You’re a dead rat to me.”

The students scattered around James were eavesdropping on their one-sided conversation. Remus ran off before James could even utter a word. As he took flight, he broke out into tears. “Why is he doing this to me?” he thought.

Remus had been very moody very recently. He was really down that his closest friends weren’t talking to him.
